Filming at Gorey Pier – 18th September
Please be advised that this Friday 18th September the producers of the television drama Bergerac will be filming scenes for the new series on Gorey Pier.
To enable the filming Ports of Jersey has suspended the parking bays in the area highlighted below from 08.00 until 20.00
Filming Schedule: Friday 18th September 2026
08:00 – 12:00
- Preparation at the location
- No traffic or pedestrian holds required at this time
- Selected bays clear at Gorey Pier
- Approximately ten crew
12:00 – 19:00
- Filming at Gorey Pier
- Intermittent traffic management and pedestrian holds in place
- Approximately seventy filming crew
19:00 – 20:00
- Clean-up / reinstatement
- No traffic or pedestrian holds required at this time
- By 20:00 all suspended bays returned to public use
The producers have liaised with St Martin’s Public Hall, the States of Jersey Police and the Gorey Boat Owners Association to coordinate the proposed work. Access along the pier will be maintained, subject to brief holds during filming which will be managed by traffic marshals.
The producers will make every effort to minimise disruption to residents, businesses and boat owners throughout the preparation, filming and reinstatement periods. If you have any specific requirements you can contact the location manager directly;
