IN ACCORDANCE WITH Article 22 of the Elections (Jersey) Law 2002, Electors are hereby notified that the following elections will be held on SUNDAY 7 JUNE 2026:
- an election for nine persons to fill the office of Senator
- an election forone person to fill the office of Connétableinthe parish of St Martin
- an election for two persons to fill the office ofDeputies in the constituency of
Grouville/St Martin
How to cast your vote
Please have with you photographic identification as this may be requested before you are allowed to vote.
| POSTAL VOTING An elector who was registered to vote by noon on 17 April 2026, and who applied in writing to the Judicial Greffe no later than 12 noon on Thursday 30 April 2026, may receive a postal vote (ballot papers to be sent out mid-May 2026). Your postal vote, submitted in the postage paid envelope supplied, must be received by the Judicial Greffe, Royal Court House, Royal Square, St. Helier, JE1 1JG, no later than 12 noon onSunday 7 June 2026. A late application may be accepted if there are exceptional circumstances which justify doing so – contact [email protected]. |
| PRE-POLL VOTING An elector who was registered to vote by noon on 17 April 2026 may vote before polling day at St Paul’s Centre, St Paul’s Gate, St Helier – 8.45am to 5pm from Tuesday 26 to Friday 29 May 2026 and 8.45am to 12noon on Monday 1 June 2026 Pre-poll home visit: if you are unable to cast your vote at pre-poll because you are ill, disabled or illiterate, or the carer of a person who is ill or disabled, please complete the Pre-Poll Home Visit application form and return it to the Judicial Greffe by 12 noon on 29 May 2026 (applications received after this time may not be able to have a home visit during pre-poll period). The Judicial Greffier may take measures to allow you to vote if satisfied that a postal vote would not have resolved your inability to vote, you could not reasonably have been expected to apply for a postal vote or foreseen that you would be unable to cast your vote. |
| VOTING ON POLLING DAY Polling stations will be open on Sunday 7 June 2026 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. – details below. Electors who are registered to vote in St Martin are to vote at the Polling Station as specified below for the electoral district in which they are registered. Please contact your Parish for advice or refer to vote.je if you are unsure which Polling Station to attend. If, on polling day, you are unable to cast your vote at the polling station because you are ill, disabled or illiterate, or the carer of a person who is ill or disabled, please notify the Autorisé or Adjoint at your Polling Station by noon, if possible, but no later than 5p.m., on Sunday 7 June 2026. The Autorisé or Adjoint may take measures to allow you to vote if satisfied that a postal vote would not have resolved your inability to vote, you could not reasonably have been expected to apply for a postal vote or foreseen that you would be unable to cast your vote. |
Paroisse de St Martin
All electors may vote in the election for nine Senators, the election for the Connétable of St Martin and in the election for two Deputies for the constituency of Grouville and St Martin.
The polling station for all electors is the Public Hall.
Electors may vote for ONE person to fill the office of Connétable of St Martin and should choose either the candidate or “None of the Candidates”. Voting for both “None of the Candidates” and the candidate will cause your ballot to be treated as an invalid ballot which will not be counted.

The Count
The votes in all elections will be counted at the Public Hall. If not complete, the count will resume on Monday 8 June 206 at the Public Hall (candidates will be advised of the time).
ON POLLING DAY, 7 June 2026, and on Monday 8 June 2026, the Public Hall will be closed for business.
