Nomination Meeting & Parish Assembly – 1st May 2025
NOMINATION MEETING
A Nomination Meeting will be held in the Public Hall on Thursday 1st May at 7pm to elect one Centenier to complete a three-year term of office expiring June 2028
A nomination form for each candidate for election must be produced to the meeting and be completed by a proposer and 9 seconders who are electors in the Parish.
If there are more candidates than vacancies, a poll will be held on Wednesday 11th June 2025. If there are not more candidates than vacancies, any duly nominated candidate will be declared elected at the nomination meeting.
PARISH ASSEMBLY
A Parish Assembly will follow at 7.30 pm to receive and if deemed advisable, approve the Minutes of the Nomination Meeting held on 8th August 2024, and to receive and if deemed advisable approve the Minutes of the Parish Assembly held on 12th December 2024. Thereafter the Assembly will elect an Officer du Connétable for the Vingtaine de Rozel for a three-year term of office. At the end of the meeting the Mickeden Cup will be presented by the Connétable and Chef de Police.
