Visite Royale – Wednesday 29th July

“VISITE ROYALE”

 

The ROYAL COURT will assemble on Wednesday 29th July at the Public Hall at 10.30 am to proceed with the Visite Royale of the public roads and paths in the Parish.

 

OCCUPIERS OF HOUSES AND LAND bordering the public roads or paths of the Parish are required to cut branches and trim hedges on properties along the public roads and footpaths, to give clearance of 12 feet over both main roads and by-roads and 8 feet over footpaths, and to remove all other hindrances and obstacles which encroach on the said public roads and paths, and this under pain of a fine or other penalty imposed by the Court.

Public Hall Office Closure

 

Due to the “Visite Royale”, the Office at the Public Hall will be closed for all business on Wednesday 29th July, including Police enquiries in the evening
